Stuck in a Long, Dark Tunnel

These 2 weeks has been really hectic! Fuhh.. 
I'm supposed to continue with my final year project but I'm STUCK with my idea.
Introducing new thing is not an easy task u know..


Need to talk to someone but WHO?? My sis is working. She's my FREE consultant. Hehehe..  =)
I Skype Mr.Goh asking for his advice.
I asked what would he do if he has no idea doing his thesis.
He said he did research on soho. Not sure what is that term..
Already google it but not so sure..
Mr.Goh did mention something that I'm still trying to figure out the meaning.


He said:
blue ocean, long tail is some of the new buzz


What does that mean? I google it. I found Blue Ocean. It is sort of a terminology in business field.
What does it means? Here what the article says:


“Blue Ocean Strategy is about building a business around a market demand that other people have 
not identified and if a company is able to do that well, it will not have serious competition."


Very hidden advice I assumed... Why am I so down?.. I couldn't just give up.. 
The consequences is too bad. Time & money consumption. Huhuhu..
Gotta to do something. I'll keep u updated when I feel much alive.

    Due to some problem, I will be continuing the activation process tomorrow.

: : Got a case from Miss Banu from JMV The Meritz. She is very 'friendly'. hahaha...
    Thank God Zhong help me to guide her with her problems.
: : Got a tough case:  Bill cannot be exported from Inventory into Accounting. 
    Zhong take over the case because I have to finished the task given by Mr.Goh.

: : Activate Payroll license for Y & Y Property Development Sdn. Bhd.
: : Today, Mr.Goh held a meeting but I'm not involved. Only permanent staff were involved.
: : Its my last day.. Kinda sad.. Today they all in the office. After office hours, Zhong & Shah invite me for
    dinner at the mamak shop nearby office.  =)

p/s: Its been so much fun, knowledgeable experience working in PC Mart. 
      Being in the working sector is very different. Only 10% of what I've learned in class were used.
      I've learned so many things, things that are not from the text book. There's a huge room for improvement!
      This final semester will be a turning point in my life for sure. Things will never be the same again!  =D

: : There's an enquiry regarding Fingertec from a customer. I just direct it to Mr. Goh because he's in charged
    of Fingerprint & Time Attendence System.

   (i)   Help Limo Cab to solve housekeeping in progress & hanging ugrade files their accounting system.
   (ii)  Reversing bank reconciliation.


: : This Wednesday, Internship supervisor will be visiting Wani & me for evaluation purposes, so, both of us
    busy preparing a simple slide show to be presented to her that consists of our job specification and 
    introduction of products & services offered by PC Mart Sdn. Bhd. & Agile Solution.

    7 weeks here. Then, we presented the slide show in Agile Solution because they have a special room 
    there for training purposes.

    Mr. Goh asked me to Skype to him so he could get it done & I could proceed with something else.

: : Got a call from customer saying that BSM trial version is not listed in our website.
    Solution: Address this issue to Mr. Goh so that he could take further actiono regarding this matter. =)
: : Miss Emily from Subang Sky Park, request for Mr. Liew to come over to their place for Building & 
    Service Maintenance (BSM) installation & training. So, I set the appoinment for her in the schedule.
: : I also get to know that Sungei Wang Food Court is in the Orange Zone. Its been ages since the last
    time I went there. My mission is to go & have my lunch there at least once before I finished Internship.

: : He sent me a spreadsheet file contained customers' SNO number. I'm supposed to key in these numbers
    in the customers' accounts in VTIGER. Somehow, there's a technical error that disable me the perform the
    task. So, Mr. Goh ask me to complete MyOLX first.

: : Set appoinment for SK Interlink. They wanted to setup the Time Attendance System that 
    they bought from us.
: : Zhong taught me how to set closing date of an accounting period so that one could start accounting
    period according to his/her company.
: : Send UBS Softwares quotation to Miss Azlin from Sungei Wang office.
    I faced hard times searching for the office! Fuuhh! But somehow, I found it.  =)
: : Zhong (Lao Tse) & Shah taught me something new today. They taught me how to back up data
    in UBS 9.4 & 9.5.    TQ Lao Tse & Shah !!   ^_^

   Happen to be this particular model has 2 version: DP UR U4000 USB & DP UR U4000B USB.
   The one with B behind 4000 has higher DPI. Meaning to say higher sensitivity.

(iii)  Learn several more things about Sage Cover through their brochure.
(iv)  Got a case from Pure Pharmacy. Their system down, need someone to come over. What I do to help is
       that I checked whether they have sign up support with PC Mart. 
(v)   Picking up phones as usual.

(ii)  Learning few things about IP address. But, I don't really know so much about DNS Server.

(i)  Update with Teressa from SAGE Support Team regarding one of our customers phone numbers.
(ii)  Got a phone call from Mr. Sumitesh Shetty all the way from India. Wanna talk to Mr. Goh, business
      reason for sure.
(iii) Reissue license for Safha Sdn Bhd. and Whitex Garments Sdn Bhd.

(i)  Got phone calls regarding UBS International License and BSM Information. 
(ii)  Got phone calls regarding Clients' Accounts software. It is used to manage Lawyer Firms' Clients.
(iiii) Also got a call from Eagle Cabin regarding corrupted file. Due to not signing up for our support, they're
       charged RM150. But, they decide to revise the invoice first.
(iv)  Help Shah to activate UBS Accounting 9.5 license for a company (*could hardly remember the
       company's name  ~_~)
(v)  Reissue license for Creative Holiday Sdn Bhd. Happen to be the representative of the company has 
      similar name like me, only different spelling.   =)

(i)  Hanging out meanwhile waiting for 'auntie' cleaning our office.
(ii) Mr. Goh giving new task; need to promote Fingertec in a site called Simplified.com. 
     It seems like PC MART is aggresively promoting Fingertec products. Mr. Goh  is very competititve which 
     is his great value.  ^_^
(iii)Today, I would say I'm happy & touched because Mr. Goh offer me to work there right after I finish 
     studying May 2011.... He also shared stories about his education background. Hmm..  Working with 
     Master holder-employer like Mr. Goh is very different. 


P/S: Its already a month in PC Mart.. I already started to love this family. Real time business, principles,
        love, laughter, families and friendships tied me to the company.. TQ Allah swt for bringing me into
        such a wonderful family...
